20 MONTHS OLD INDIA’S YOUNGEST ORGAN DONOR

A 20-month-old baby girl, Dhanishtha, who was declared brain dead, became India’s youngest organ donor.

According to the report, Dhanishtha, who had fallen from the balcony of her home, was taken to Ganga Ram Hospital on 8 January.

She was declared brain dead on 11 January.

After receiving the news, her parents, Ashish Kumar and Babita, decided to donate the girl’s organs.

Soon, the hospital released her heart, liver, both kidneys and Retrieved the cornea.
