AAP bags 27 seats in Gujarat civic polls.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday held a road show in Surat, Gujarat.

He thanked the people for their support to the Aam Aadmi Party in the municipal elections. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “during this time that the entire nation is astonished by the results that have come in Surat. The whole country is discussing how this miracle has happened in Surat. Everyone is talking about the Delhi model of the common man.”

The Aam Aadmi Party has won 27 seats in the civic body elections in Surat. AAP, contesting for the first time, fielded 470 candidates in the elections held for the six municipal corporations of Gujarat. In which it has shown strength by winning 27 seats in Surat. The Aam Aadmi Party has become the main opposition party in Surat, winning 27 seats in the 120-member Manpa. On Friday about his road show, Kejriwal said that he has come to thank the people. Kejriwal said, “AAP has made a dent in BJP’s fort in Surat by securing 27 seats in the civic elections. The people of Surat have given the responsibility of the main opposition party to the Aam Aadmi Party, on which we will work to live up to it.


Arvind Kejriwal has also held a meeting with his newly elected councilors in Surat.


Arvind Kejriwal also said, “different parties come to power in states across the country, but in Surat, newly elected corporators of AAP have come to serve the public. BJP comes to power, because they have controlled other parties. Nobody is going to tell them, so they are doing whatever they want. The first time someone came to see them for an eye.
