Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah on Thursday held two election public meetings in North and South Bengal, targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. On the occasion of flagging off BJP’s fourth Parivartan Yatra from Cooch Behar in North Bengal, Amit Shah promised the farmers of West Bengal that if their party BJP comes to power, Rs 18,000 will be sent to every farmers bank account.
Amit Shah accused CM Mamata Banerjee of not implementing the poor welfare schemes of the Narendra Modi government in the state.
Amit Shah said, “Modi government is running 115 schemes to help the poor and the needy. Didi prevents these schemes from being implemented in the state.”Amit Shah asked the crowd gathered at the Rosh Mela ground in Cooch Behar, “Do you get 6,000 rupees in your bank accounts”. People did not reply.
Amit Shah said, “when Mamta didi don’t sent the list of beneficiaries and bank details to us,how will you get money from Modiji? “
Amit Shah said, “West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is scared of the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, so she blocks central schemes.”
Amit Shah also said, “The government puts the amount of PM Kisan Fund directly into the account of the farmers. For this, the list of farmers, their bank details would be needed, ask Mamta ji how many details have they sent? She has sent only one letter.”
