Agartala Jan 08: A bird flu alert was issued by the Tripura government on Friday after the death of ducks.
Avian Influenza after it’s off late epidemic in certain states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh among birds and overnight death of ducks in a frim Agartala.
The samples have been collected by the veterinary officials to figure out the fact behind the sudden death of ducks and made sure safe dumping of the birds.
Following this, the surveillance has been strengthened around the areas and issued a special advisory for the poultry owners.
Dr. K. Sasikumar, director of Animal Resources Development urged all the farms’ owners to be cautious and deal with seriously any mortality, sickness in the birds.
