BJP all set to capture West Bengal

Assembly elections are due in West Bengal. The Bharatiya Janata Party has gathered to capture Bengal's power from Mamata Banerjee.

Senior BJP leaders are camping in West Bengal. Before the Assembly elections 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit West Bengal to address a rally in Hooghly on 22 February. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Parivar Yatra’ in Kolkata on 18 February.


The Prime Minister may also participate in some development programs during his visit to the state of Bengal. He is also expected to attend the convocation of Visva-Bharati University as Vice Chancellor. At the same time, Shah will flag off the BJP’s ‘family journey’ from Kolkata’s Kakdwip. The saffron party is organizing a five-phase Parivartan Yatra in West Bengal.


The yatra was flagged off by BJP President JP Nadda from Nabadwip in Nadia district on 6 February. The yatra will cover all 294 constituencies of the state. Last week, the Union Minister flagged off the ‘Parivartan Yatra’ of the fourth phase from Cooch Behar and participated in various party functions. BJP president JP Nadda will also visit West Bengal on 25 February.
