Bombay High Court granted transit bail to Advocate Nikita Jacob in toolkit case.

Advocate Nikita Jacob, suspected accused in the toolkit case related to farmers movement, has been granted 3 weeks advance bail by the Bombay High Court.

The court has allowed the grant of transit bail for 3 weeks in connection with the FIR of Delhi Police. During the hearing, Justice PD Naik said that in these three weeks, Nikita can go to Delhi Court regarding the case registered against her.
Nikita got bail by submitting a personal bond of Rs 25,000 and same amount of deposit.

A non-bailable warrant has been issued against Advocate Nikita Jacob by the Delhi Court. In anticipation of arrest, Jacob applied to the Bombay High Court seeking bail for up to 4 weeks. Shantanu Muluk, the second suspect accused in the same case, has been granted transit bail for 10 days. A non-bailable warrant was also issued against Shantanu. The first arrest in the toolkit case was that of clitmate activist Disha Ravi. She was arrested by the Delhi Police from Bengaluru. She is severely accused of creating the toolkit and sharing it to others.
