Chief Justice of India SA Bobde retires.

Chief Justice of India Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde retired from the Supreme Court today.

In his Farwell speech on Friday, he said thathe has given the ‘best’ in his tenure. Speaking on the present-day corona virus situation, he told the young lawyers that there is no need to be disappointed with the events leading to the epidemic. Do not lose hope, things will change soon. After Justice SA Bobde, Justice Nathalapathy Venkata Ramana will be the 48th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India.


On 23 April, the last day of his tenure, Justice SA Bobde left the court room. During this, Attorney General KK Venugopal also praised him. He said, “Last year, the corona virus epidemic started spreading in India, in such a situation, he (SA Bobde) converted physical hearing into virtual hearing.” Solicitor General Tushar Mehta also praised Bobde and said that Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Justice Bobde is a great person. He is also rich in Amazing Sense of Humor.
