CM KCR phone call to Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat

CM KCR on Friday complained with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Shekhawat over Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS) right canal works. He spoke on the phone with Union Minister Shekhawat this afternoon.

The Telangana government has strongly objected to the construction of the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project. CM KCR asked the Union Minister to see that no injustice is done to Telangana in water pumps.

The Center has directed the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) to look into the Rayalaseema project and submit a report within a week.

The Center has directed the KRMB to look into the project work with the help of central forces if necessary.

The Telangana government alleges that the AP government does not care even if the Green Tribunal issues orders to stop the project.
