The national headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party is preparing a program for the Finance Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested Sitharaman to visit schools and colleges to discuss the budget.

On February 13, two days after addressing the meetings in Telangana – Sitharaman will be in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. This is the same city where Sitharaman studied from KG to Class 5 at Sacred Heart Convent School.
Significantly, on 1st February, the Union Budget was presented, which the Economic Advisers have described as a budget to give momentum to the country.

Soon after the presentation of the budget, there was a big jump in the stock markets.
