FIR AGAINST BOBBY DEOL’S WEB SERIES ASHRAM’S DIRECTOR

Controversy has arisen over the popular web series Ashram which was released on OTT platform.

A case has been filed against this web series in Rajasthan.\It is alleged that the image of the Dalit community has been misrepresented in the Ashram web series.

This case has been registered in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Regarding the matter, SHO Sitaram Pawar of Luni police station in Jodhpur said that a case has been registered against the makers of the Ashram web series.

It is alleged that in some scenes of the series, the Dalit community is shown incorrectly. A case under the SC-ST Act has been registered against the makers of the Ashram web series.

The series is accused of hurting the sentiments of the Dalit community. The first episode of the series has been questioned.

The complaint states that in one scene of this episode, the Dilat community has been insulted and discrimination has been promoted in this series. Explain that in December 2020, the Jodhpur court had already sent notice to Bobby Deol and Prakash Jha in a second case.
