At the same time, Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India said that our focus is on taking out the trapped people.

It is being told that at least 4 people are trapped inside the building.
According to the fire department, the fire was reported from the Serum Institute at around 2:30 pm. After which the fire department team immediately reached the spot.

Efforts are on to extinguish the fire. On the fire incident, CEO Adar Poonawala said that right now we are focusing only on saving people.

We are trying to evacuate people trapped in the building. I’m not caring about anything else. First we will save our people, then we will assess the loss.

At the same time, Poonawala tweeted that, thank you all for your concern and prayers.

The most important thing so far is that there was no loss of any life in the fire nor anyone is injured. Some floors of the building have been destroyed in the fire.
