Germany approved the vaccination campaign for the children over 12 years of age.

The campaign to begin from 7th June. It has been approved by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. However, it will not be mandatory to vaccinate children in this campaign. Angela Merkel states, “From June 7, the appointment process will begin for vaccines for children and young people for 12 years and older.”
Those who are willing to get the vaccine will be given both the doses of the vaccine by the end of August. Regarding the effect of the vaccine on children, it is being said in the local media reports that after taking the vaccine, the children will be able to do all their work comfortably, they will not face any problem in going to school.

The European Medicine Agency can approve Pfizer or BioNotech Covid vaccine for children between 12 and 15 years on Friday. It is currently authorized for those are over 16 years old in the European Union. Pfizer has claimed that its corona vaccine is more effective against the virus and is suitable for all people of 12 years of age or older.

Canada and the United States have already started vaccinating people over 12 years of age. It is believed that many countries of the world, including India, may be vulnerable to the next wave of corona, in which the infection will affect the children immensely. In such a situation, it was very important to develop a vaccine for children’s safety. The US also began developing and deploying vaccines for children for the first time. Vaccine demand for children is now increasingly in many countries.
