Group of people takes pledge to make India ‘staunch’ Hindu Rashtra, case registered

They took chanted a slogan hailing a group called Hindu Suraksha Sena along with some other slogans. The incident took place in Bakimongra area of Chhattisgarh’s Korba district.

The Chhattisgarh Police have a registered a case against one Pramod Agarwal and some others after they were seen, in a video that has gone viral, taking a pledge to make India a “staunch Hindu Rashtra” and have all kind of relations with Hindus only.

They said that they would make India a Hindu nation and “extend business, social and economic support to our Hindu brethren” and take steps to strengthen Hindutva by employing only Hindus in “our establishments, our homes, and our businesses”.

Korba Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel said that a case has been registered against the accused by Kotwali police station under IPC section 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony).
