Shiromani Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has expressed disappointment over the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in the Lok Sabha.Reacting to the PM’s speech in the Parliament complex, Badal said that what the prime minister has said is not true.

It is time for the PM to hear what farmers want, but the Prime Minister’s speech does not show that the government wants to hear the pain of the farmer.

Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that PM considers the opposition responsible for the farmers’ movementPM should tell that which opposition party is sitting on the dharna with the farmers and not allowing them to talk.

The farmers have clearly said that political parties would not come in their movement.Still, if there is any, the PM should clearly state which leader is on strike for 75 days.

Harsimrat Kaur also states,”PM said that the ministers of the government met and spoke to the farmers.I wish he had told to which farmers did the ministers talk, as far as I remember, the ministers who went to Punjab had called farmers as goons instead of talking.”

Badal said,”the farmers are sitting on the borders of Delhi since 75 days, till now no minister visited to them and you are talking about going to Punjab?”
Regarding the deaths of farmers at picketing sites, the Akali Dal MP said, “It is unfortunate that PM has not said a single word for the 150 farmers who have lost their lives.”
