Hyderabadi woman stuck in Oman, seeks help Indian Embassy assures to help her out.

The Indian Embassy on Monday assured a Hyderabadi woman to who is stuck in Oman after she was duped and forced to marry an Arab national.

According to the details, Indian Embassy in Muscat, Oman responded to the tweet of Amjed Ullah Khan Spokesman MBT and assured to rescue Kouser Banu a resident of Hyderabad stuck up in Muscat, Oman.

Kouser Banu who used to run a beauty parlour in Hyderabad was facing financial difficulties since lockdown, she was promised a job as a beautician in Muscat, Oman by one lady agent Fatima who originally belonged to Golconda Qila area in Hyderabad but settled in Oman after marriage to an Omani National.

After Kouser Banu reached Muscat, Oman she found that there no job of a beautician or any beauty parlour but was being asked to marry an physically handicapped aged Arab to which she refused and wanted to go back home.

When she refused to marry the said person Fatima agent started harassing Kouser Banu.
Kouser Banu in a video appealed to help her out with Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar Minister for External Affairs Govt of India and after that Indian Embassy in Muscat, Oman got in touch with Kouser Banu and assured her to rescue and repatriate her.

Out of 25 women from Hyderabad who were cheated and trafficked to Dubai by different agents during Sep-Oct 2020, nearly ten has reached Hyderabad safely, remaining has already been rescued by Indian Consulate in Dubai may reach Hyderabad next week.
The matter came to light after a women sent a video message to Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT narrating her story and asking for help.

Mr Khan highlighted this issue with Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar Minister for External Affairs Govt of India after which the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Indian Consulate in Dubai swung into action and with help of Dubai Police rescued them all, meanwhile Hyderabad police also took note of this case and arrested the local travel agent and sent them to jail.

After reaching Hyderabad the rescued women along with their families reached MBT Office in Chanchalguda and met Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT and thanked him for rescuing them safely back to Hyderabad.
