Hyderabad :

Maulana Hamid Mohammad Khan, President of the Jamaat-e-Islami India Telangana, demanded immediate opening of mosques in the state.

Maulana Hamid Mohammad Khan said that in view of the increasing number of cases of Covid 19, the government, based on the recommendations of the Health Department, initially imposed a mild lockdown for 4 hours in the morning (6-10 pm).

As the number of Corona cases decreased, so did the lockdown.
As a result, lockdown times have been increased. And these times were done from 6 am to 1 pm. In doing so, these hours were extended from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., demanding the opening of places of worship with covid protocol.

He said that now in the lockdown, from 6 am to 5 pm, almost all commercial establishments, offices and even pubs are allowed to remain open but only a limited number of worshipers are allowed to enter the mosques.

In the current situation, prayers should be allowed in mosques with the help of code protocol, masks, sanitizers, social distance. On this occasion, the people were also appealed to abide by the code rules.
