Independent journalist Mandeep Punia released on bail

Independent journalist Mandeep Punia has been granted bail by the Delhi Rohini Court on Tuesday (03 February). The Delhi Police arrested Mandeep Punia from the site of the Singhu border demonstration, where the farmers’ agitation continues.

Coming out of Tihar Jail, Mandeep Punia has said, “I was stopped from reporting and put in jail. I have spoken to the arrested farmers in the jail and I will write my report on them soon.”

Mandeep have written the reports of the farmers on his legs, the photos of which are on his Twitter handle. Mandeep Punia has demanded that the journalists in jails should be released as soon as possible.
