On Tuesday, 1,61,736 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours and 879 people have died. In the last 24 hours, 97,168 people have been recovered and discharged from the hospital. The total number of positive cases in India has increased to 1,36,89,453. At the same time, 1,71,058 people have died due to Corona epidemic. The number of active cases in the country is 12,64,698 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,22,53,697. So far, 10,85,33,085 people have been administered Corona virus vaccine in the country. India has reached the second place in the Corona virus infected cases, excluding Brazil.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 25,92,07,108 sample tests have been done in India till April 12 for corona virus, out of which 14,00,122 sample tests are done on the same day.
