The Health Ministry said that the recovery rate in the country has risen to above 90 percent due to the corona virus patients recovering steadily. At the same time, the positivity rate of corona virus has also declined. According to the Ministry of Health, the corona virus has a weekly positivity rate of 10.93 percent at this time. Whereas, Corona has a daily positivity rate of 9.79 per cent, which is recorded below 10 per cent for the third consecutive day.
Due to increase in recovery rate, now active cases of corona virus have come down to 24,19,907 in the country. In the last one day, there has been a decline of 75684 in active cases of corona virus. Along with this, vaccination campaigns against the corona virus are going on in different states, in which a total of 20,26,95,874 doses of the vaccine have been given so far. On the other hand, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) reported that a total of 33,69,69,352 sample tests of corona virus have been done in the country till May 26, out of which 21,57,857 tests have been done within a day.
