Although its pace has slowed down, but there is no significant decline in the death toll. On 20th May, 3,874 people died by Corona virus in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 2,76,070 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 3,69,077 people have been recovered from the corona and discharged from the hospital. So far 2,87,122 people have died in India from Covid-19. The number of active cases in the country is 31,29,878. The total number of discharged cases is 2,23,55,440.
The total number of corona positive cases in the country is 2,57,72,400. So far 18,70,09,792 people have been vaccinated with the corona virus in India. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 32,23,56,187 sample tests of Covid-19 have been done in India so far. Out of which 20,55,010 sample tests have been done in one day on 20th May.
