The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry released the data on Monday, stating that 3,66,161 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country within the last 24 hours, while 3,53,818 patients have been cured. During this period, 3,754 people have lost their lives due to infection and the death toll has risen to 2,46,116.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of cases of corona virus in the country has increased to 2,26,62,575 and the number of recovered patients to 1,86,71,222 after getting new patients. At the same time, there are currently 37,45,237 active cases in different states of the country. Significantly, the vaccination campaign against the corona virus is also going on in which a total of 17,01,76,603 doses of vaccine have been given so far.
