According to the data released on Wednesday, during the last 24 hours, 4,529 people have died due to corona virus across the country, which is the largest number of deaths reported in a single day in the country. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said that 2,67,334 new cases of corona virus have been found in the last one day, while 3,89,851 patients have been cured. After getting new patients, the total number of corona virus cases in the country has increased to 2,54,96,330 and the number of patients recovering to 2,19,86,363.
The Union Health Ministry said that due to increase in the number of patients recovering in the country, the active cases of corona virus has come down to 32,26,719. Apart from this, a total of 2,83,248 people have died due to Corona virus so far. A vaccination campaign is also going on in the country against the Corona virus and a total of 18,58,09,302 doses of the vaccine have been given.
