India to organize a 75 weeks celebration to mark 75 years of Independence.

Which includes Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Chief Justice of India Sharad Bobde.
On Friday, the government gave information about this.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, former President Pratibha Patil, economist Amartya Sen, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, yoga guru Baba Ramdev, chief ministers of states and senior political leaders are among the list of people to join the panel. The Ministry of Culture issued a statement saying that this committee will be informed about the policy directions and guidelines for the formulation of programs to be held at national and international level to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.

According to reports, the Government of India has decided to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence with great fanfare, for which many events, exhibitions, rallies will be organized. Department officials said that PM Modi will also celebrate the 91st anniversary of the Dandi March on 12th March in Gujarat.

A program called Independence Amrit Mahotsav will be organized, which will start 75 weeks before 15 August 2022 and ends on 15th August 2023. All the programs will be organized under the Ministry of Culture. Officials said that suggestions in this regard have also been sought from the departments of the state governments. To celebrate the anniversary with pomp, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will organize an exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at various places. Apart from this, the state governments will organize an exhibition about the unsung heroes of freedom. Officials told that the Chief Secretaries of all the states will select 75 such places which have historical significance all over the country.
