Israeli police said a border guard shot and killed a Palestinian woman who was allegedly carrying a knife as she walked toward the guards stationed at the crossing point, AFP reported on Saturday.
The border guard at the Qalandiya crossing point, between Jerusalem and the West Bank, had reportedly told the the woman to stop, before opening fire, the Israeli police added, without giving further details.
