Kapil Sibal donated Rs.3 Crore in Congress Party Fund

The Congress has given the details of donations received in the party fund in the year 2019-20 to the Election Commission. In this, former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal is the biggest contributor. He has donated Rs 3 crore to the party fund.

Significantly, he has been at the forefront of the leaders of the G-23 (G-23), who have voiced the democratically elected president in the Congress and the democratically formed party organization. He has expressed his feelings through the media many times.

Apart from Sibal, at least five other Congress leaders in Group-23 have also supported the party fund. These include Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma, Shashi Tharoor, Milind Deora and Raj Babbar.
