Marching on a large number of tractors towards Delhi to support the farmers who have been agitating against the agricultural laws on the borders of Delhi for several months. One of them said, ‘We are going Delhi to support the agitating farmers on the Singhu border. Those who have been protesting there for a long time. We will sit there for the next 20 days. On April 5, some more people will reach there from Ferozepur. “
It is known that thousands of farmers of Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh have been agitating on the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders of Delhi for a long time in protest against the three agricultural laws implemented by the central government. There have been many talks between farmers and the central government about amendment of these laws, but it has been fruitless.
At the same time, Indian farmer leader Rakesh Tikait says that the agitation will continue till the agricultural laws are withdrawn. While the central government is ready to amend the agricultural laws, but it does not appear to be in the mood to withdraw them.
Regarding the agricultural laws, the farmers say that with their implementation, the government will end the minimum support price and the government mandis will also be abolished. Apart from this, contract farming will transfer the lands of the farmers to the hands of the traders.
