Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Uma Bharti has pleaded the party’s national president JP Nadda for complete liquor prohibition in BJP-ruled states.

BJP leader Uma Bharti tweeted 8 times demanding ban on Liquor. In these tweets, she has cited the harm caused to the society by consumption of alcohol.

She has said that liquor ban is not a loss deal anywhere, the loss of revenue from liquor detainees can be met from anywhere, but incidents like alcohol-rape, murders, accidents, rape of young girls are frightening and stigma for the country and society.

She further said that, it costs thousands of crores of rupees to maintain law and order, liquor ban is an important step to maintain balance in the society.

A debate can be started on this.

Referring to the liquor incident in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti said, recently a large number of people died due to alcohol consumption in UP and MP. Drunk and drive is also leading to the road accidents in the country.

It is a matter of great surprise that liquor is the messenger of death, yet the greed for some revenue and the pressure of the liquor mafia does not allow liquor ban.

Uma Bharti, while lobbying for BJP-ruled states, told party president JP Nadda, “I make a public appeal to our national president JP Nadda through a tweet that wherever BJP governments rule, impose a liquor ban.

Regarding the number of liquor shops in Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti said that the government has not taken any decision regarding increasing the number of liquor shops in Madhya Pradesh, this statement of Shivraj Singh Chauhan is laudable.

Uma Bharti, referring to the situation of people not getting liquor during the lockdown period, wrote, “At the time of the lockdown of the Corona period, there was almost a prohibition of liquor. This makes it clear that other causes and corona caused deaths.

But no one died from drinking alcohol.

Uma Bharti wrote that there was pressure on political parties to win elections in Bihar, referring to the success achieved by BJP on the issue of liquor ban in assembly elections.

The BJP’s victory in Bihar proves that it was because of prohibition of liquor that women unilaterally voted for Nitish Kumar.
