Mumbai Police Deputy Commisioner filed complaint against Arnab Goswami and others

Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami, his wife, Republic TV director Samyabrata Goswami and ARG Outlayer Media for alleged derogatory remarks against him in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

He has filed a defamation complaint against all four. Abhishek Trimukhe is the Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Zone 9 of Mumbai.
The complaint filed in the Sessions Court through the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Mumbai seeks preventive process of warrants against the accused and compensation for the Trimukhe.

The complainant stated that, “The derogatory remarks have been made with a singular view of killing the official character of Trimukhe and thereby being malicious and deliberately meant to humiliate the Mumbai Police Department, the people who serve the public.”

On June 14, the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was first investigated by the Bandra Police. Sushant was found dead at his flat in Bandra.
