These state governments had also demanded vaccine from the center, after which the central government on Saturday supplied 1,45,00,000 doses of the vaccine inside the country. Giving information about this, the Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that there is no shortage of vaccine in the country. Before giving this information, Harsh Vardhan spoke with chief ministers of 11 states through video conferencing.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that at present the states are having 1,58,00,000 doses and there are 1,16,84,000 doses of vaccine within the supply, so there is no shortage of vaccine within the country. Dr. Harsh Vardhan told that all the states have used doses of about 12,57,18,000 vaccines, including Vestage in the states.
