During his two-day visit, PM Modi will also inaugurate the Bapu Bangabandhu digital video exhibition in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.


Before leaving for Bangladesh tour, PM Modi tweeted, “I am looking forward to join the celebration of Bangladesh independence by remembering the life and ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman while visiting Bangladesh. Our partnership with Bangladesh is an important pillar of our Neighborhood First policy and we are committed to deepen and diversify it. We will continue to support the remarkable development journey of Bangladesh under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. “
