With more than one lakh native families getting the right to ownership of land, a big concern of your life has now gone away.
PM Modi said that when our government was formed in Assam, at that time there were about 6 lakh native families who did not have legal papers of the land.

The government here, under the leadership of Sarvanand Sonowal, worked with sincerity to address your concern. Today, emphasis is being given on preserving the language, culture of the native inhabitants of Assam and their rights related to land.

The new land policy formulated in 2019 shows the commitment of the government here.

PM Modi said, Our government is continuously working for the development of Assam. Given the importance to Sivasagar, the government is taking necessary steps to include it among the five most iconic archaeological sites in the country.
