Now next winter will not be so difficult for your family. You will also have your own house and facilities in the next winter.

PM Modi said, “all of you have seen what was the situation in Uttar Pradesh during the earlier governments. The poor did not believe that the government could also help in building a house. The earlier housing schemes, the way houses were built under them, is also not hidden from anyone. The country had set a target of providing pucca houses to every poor family till the completion of 75 years of independence. In the past years, about two crore houses have been built only in rural areas. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana alone of which 1.25 crore houses has been given to the people.”
