The new year has brought new hopes for the people of India, where a national vaccination campaign against the corona virus started from 16 January.
In the first phase of this campaign, health workers and frontline workers are being vaccinated by Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech.
After this, the second phase of vaccination campaign will start, in which the Chief Ministers of all the states including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be vaccinated.
In fact, since the beginning of vaccination, questions were arising as to why the PM, Union Minister, Chief Minister and other big leaders are not taking Corona’s vaccine.
Some people were also spreading rumours that the vaccine is not very safe, due to which the leaders are avoiding taking it. According to sources, the central government wants to clear this confusion. PM Modi will take the vaccine himself in the second phase.
At the same time, the Chief Ministers of all the states will also be given a vaccine dose.
At present, more than 300 MPs in the Lok Sabha and more than 200 MPs in the Rajya Sabha have crossed the age of 50, in such a situation, they will also be vaccinated.
This will send a strong message to the public about the safety of the vaccine.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) had a meeting with the Chief Ministers of the states regarding the vaccine, the PM said that no one needs to panic.
In the second phase, all those who are above 50 years will be vaccinated.
However, it is not yet decided when the second phase will start nor has any guidelines related to it been decided.
According to sources, leaders whose age is above 80 can also be given special preference. Which also includes the names of two former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda
