Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over the Arjuna Tanks (MK-1A) to the Army on Sunday (14 February). The Prime Minister will deliver the Arjun Tank to the Army in Chennai at 11:15 am on Sunday. The Defense Ministry has stated that 118 Arjuna tanks will be given to the army, which are estimated to the cost of Rs.8400 crores.

The Prime Minister’s Office has informed that the Prime Minister will visit Tamil Nadu and Kerala this weekend. During this time he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several projects in Chennai and Kochi . Meanwhile, he will also hand over the Arjuna main battle tanks to the army in Chennai.

In a high-level meeting, The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the latest version of the Arjuna Tanks to the Indian Army on 14 February in Chennai. The tank has been fully designed and developed by DRDO.
