Hyderabad Jan 05: Seeking immediate the formation of new Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) council, newly elected BJP’s corporators staged a protest outside Pragathi Bhavan on Tuesday.
The police, however, were taken to surprise after the BJP corporators including women suddenly reached at Pragathi Bhavan and made a bid to gain into the Pragathi Bhavan. But police foiled their bid to proceed and took then into custody.
The BJP proctors alleged that they were not allowed to talk to the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and were arrested.
“We have come here to talk to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao but we are not allowed and taking into custody. It is KCR’s downfall and he will have to face similar debacle in the next elections.
The people should understand TRS government policy and bring the BJP power, the people voted us to power despite this TRS party leader claim to be corporators this will not go on at all,’’ one of the agitated corporators told Media.
