Police erected ‘wall of thorns’ to stop farmers

Farmers organizations, which have been agitating for more than 2 months, are adamant on their demand and have clearly declared that till the return of the agricultural laws, there will be no return to home.

On the other hand, after the incidents of violence in the capital on Republic Day, the Delhi Police has put heavy barricades on the road with huge nails on the border to stop the farmers. Now with this move of Delhi Police, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has attacked the Modi government.

Sharing photographs of the fencing made by the Delhi Police to stop the farmers, Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Government of India should build bridges, not walls.”

Let us tell you that many incidents of violence were reported during the farmers’ tractor rally held in Delhi on Republic Day, after which the police has taken this step to prevent the farmers from entering Delhi.

The police have put iron pointed bars on the streets of Delhi’s Singhu border, Tikari border and Ghazipur border and have also filled cement with huge dividers while standing on the road.
