The agitation of the farmers continues against the new agricultural laws. PM Modi had appealed farmers in the Rajya Sabha to end their agitation and work out a solution to the problem.

However, in his address, he targeted some people and said that confusion has been spread in the name of agricultural law and for the past few times a new group of ‘agitators’ has been born in this country which cannot live without agitation.

Ramesh Tikait, leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, was furious when PM Modi used the word ‘Aandolanjeevi’. Talking to the media, he said ,” PM Modi has called us ‘agitators’, it is very sad, oh we do agitate but we are not jumlebaaz.

Law should be made on MSP, it is not being made. All three black laws are not coming to an end. In 2011, the Prime Minister had said that the MSP will be enacted in the country, it was a jumble, we are demonstrating peacefully but we are being ‘agitators’. But let me tell you that our movement will go on till the agricultural law is repealed.”
