RJD to contest assembly polls in West Bengal.

Tejaswi Yadav, son and MLA of RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has also made up his mind to contest elections in West Bengal.

In view of this, Tejaswi will be reaching Kolkata on Sunday and will meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Brinda Roy, president of RJD’s Bengal unit, said that Tejaswi Yadav would hold a meeting with party workers in Beliaghata and decide the party’s strategy. Brinda Rai said that Tejaswi Yadav will address the party workers and explain party’s plan in Bengal. According to sources, Tejashwi’s party can contest the assembly elections together with TMC. There is also news that the RJD has created a mood to give up its insistence on the issue of seats.


Assembly elections in West Bengal will take place in 8 phases,where the Voting for the first phase will take place on 27th March and the last phase will be held on April 29. The result will come on 2nd May.
