Sonu Sood withdraws petition filed in Supreme Court
Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has withdrawn the petition filed in the Supreme Court regarding the illegal construction at the Mumbai residence. A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde allowed the actor to withdraw his petition.

Previously, The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sent a notice to actor Sonu Sood regarding illegal construction in the residential building in Juhu . Sonu Sood was accused of converting the six-storey residential building into a hotel. Sonu Sood filed a petition in the Bombay High Court against this notice, which was rejected by the High Court.
The actor moved the Supreme Court after the petition was dismissed in the Bombay High Court.After which actor filed a petition in the Supreme Court, the counsel of Sonu sood had said that the BMC Commissioner had given partial permission for the construction of the bungalow and therefore notice should not be given.
