Supreme Court adjourned the hearing on cancellation of Class 12th CBSE Exams .

The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing till Monday, while hearing a petition seeking cancellation of 12th examinations in the Corona era.

In addition to the 12th board exams, this petition has also demanded cancellation of ICSE examinations. This petition has said that the circumstances are not suitable for conducting the examination at all, so the examinations should be cancelled. The Supreme Court will now hear the matter on Monday.


The petition filed in the Supreme Court said that the present situation is not correct according to the conduct of the examination, but if the examination is postponed, the results will be delayed. This will affect the students’ further studies, so the examinations should be canceled. The petition said that the government should remove some other way of giving marks to the students, so that the results do not get delayed. This petition has been filed by Advocate Mamta Sharma of the Supreme Court. The petition sought to direct the Center, CBSE and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) to cancel the CBSE and ICSE Class 12th examinations.

Apart from this, children’s parents are also demanding to cancel the board examinations. About 7000 parents have moved the Supreme Court with this demand. A big decision is expected from the government on June 1 in this regard.

From the court to the road, there is a demand from the Central Government to cancel the 12th board examinations. The Congress party’s student wing NSUI will hold a demonstration outside the Education Ministry on Friday to postpone the exam.
