At the same time, a big announcement has been made for the farmers. The government has waived farmer loans of Rs.12,110 crore. Apart from this, the government will also withdraw cases filed in Jallikattu protest case.

In his address to the Assembly on Friday, CM Palaniswami said that the government had already stated that free corona vaccine would be given to all the people of the state and Tamil Nadu would be made corona free. At the same time, the government has also waived the loans of farmers taken from the cooperative banks of the state. The government has waived loans of Rs.12,110 crore.

CM said that in view of the situation of farmers in the state, this big decision has been taken. At the same time, he assured that this declaration will be implemented immediately.
