Tamil Nadu has announced night Curfew and Sunday Lockdown.

Tamil Nadu government has canceled the exams of class 12. Apart from this, a full lockdown has been announced on every Sunday and from 20th April to 10 PM to 4 AM, the night curfew has been announced. The decision has been taken after a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Palaniswami to review the Corona situation in the state.

The communiqué issued by the government states that the 12th class examinations have been canceled but the practical examinations will be as per the plan. Earlier there was a plan to conduct 12th examinations from May 3 to May 21. According to the information, private and public transport including autorickshaws and taxis will be completely closed during the night curfew.
