Tauktae Cyclone Effect -The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rains .

Cyclone 'Tauktae' has wreaked havoc in many states of India struggling with the Corona crisis.

After raging in Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat, it is now moving towards Rajasthan, but its effect is also seen in the surrounding states. The Meteorological Department has said in its latest update that light to heavy rains are forecast in Delhi, UP, MP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Chhattisgarh due to cyclone.


The department has issued an alert for heavy rain in 19 districts of UP, 11 in Rajasthan and 8 in Gujarat, while there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi-NCR during the next 24 hours from this evening. IMD has said that heavy rain is expected in Delhi from May 19 to the next three days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert there.

MP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, West Bengal and Odisha may get heavy rains in Delhi-NCR for the next three days, then the weather on the mountains can get worse. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rains in Himachal and Uttarakhand.
