The meeting was held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.The Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar repeated the same talk on the postponement of the farm laws to which the farmer leaders did not agree to the abrogation in the laws.

After which the meeting ended without any result. No date has been set for the next meeting.

The government, while showing a tough stance, made it clear that the proposal of the committee to stop the implementation of the laws and it is the last.

The government has asked to talk further only after the farmers have agreed to the proposal.

After the meeting, BKU leader Rakesh Tikait said that the Union Minister was told that the government is ready to postpone the agricultural laws for two years instead of one and a half years, during which discussions to be made by forming a committee.

It was said by the government that if the farmers are ready on this proposal then only we can talk again tomorrow.

Apart from this, no other proposal has been given by the government.

He also made it clear that the tractor parade on January 26 will be done according to the schedule.

Farmer leader Gurnam Chadhuni said, “We did not accept what the government had proposed. The government did not accept the withdrawal of agricultural laws.

No solution could be found in such situation. No date has been set for the next meeting.”
