The railways approved the transportation of liquid medical oxygen across the country through cryogenic tankers.
Amid growing cases of corona, liquid oxygen will be transported across the country under the Roll on-Roll of Scheme at the request of the Principal Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra.
The railways approved the transportation of liquid medical oxygen across the country through cryogenic tankers. However, it will have to be borne by the state government.
Along with this, the state governments will bear the cost of returning after unloading these cylinders. Employees going with these containers will have to take a second class ticket and only two persons will be allowed to go with the containers.
These cylinders will be transported to the nearest destination cities according to the needs of different states through railways. The cost involved in transporting these cylinders to various states from the railways will also be reduced.
