There is no truth in the sex CD,I am innocent” : BJP MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi.
BJP MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, who had resigned from the Karnataka minister because of his alleged involvement in the alleged sex scandal, has said that he has nothing to do with the sex CD and has been implicated under a conspiracy.
Ramesh Jarkiholi said on Tuesday, “There is no truth in this sex CD. This is a conspiracy, I am innocent. I came to know about this CD 4 months ago, then I told my brother that I had done nothing wrong. It is not me who is in it. I got a call from the High Command, they said that such a conspiracy could happen and you get legal help. Even then I said that I will fight against these charges.”
Ramesh further said that the media has made him both a villain and a hero. Regarding his resignation, he said that he resigned because he did not want his party to be embarrassed.
He said, ‘It was my own decision to resign. I waited a night before resigning to see the result of the allegations. CM Yeddyurappa did not ask me to resign. The party did not have to raise any embarrassment, so I resigned the next morning. “
