UNION HOME MINISTRY ISSUED AN ADVISORY URGING PEOPLE NOT TO USE THE TRI COLOUR MADE OF PLASTIC DURING REPUBLIC DAY

In view of the Republic Day celebrations, the Union Home Ministry issued an advisory urging people not to use the tricolor made of plastic on January 26, instead use a flag made of paper or cloth.

It is said that the flag made of plastic does not rot naturally, it doesn’t disintegrate for a long time and it is also difficult to dispose.

Therefore, taking care of the dignity of the flag, no one should use a flag made of plastic.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the States and Union Territories to strictly follow the Flag Code
