In this month-long campaign, people will be made aware of road safety rules and for this, road safety related programs will be organized in schools, colleges and other educational institutions, in which the youth will be made aware of road safety.

Inaugurating the National Road Safety Campaign, Nitin Gadkari also said that this campaign was very much needed.

Many youth are losing their lives in road accidents.

Through this campaign, the youth will be made aware of road safety rules, so that before 2025, we will be able to reduce road accidents and deaths due by 50%.Nitin Gadkari also said that if we keep going like this till 2030, by then 6-7 people will lose their lives, so it was necessary that the youth should be made aware of road safety rules.

Let me tell you that this campaign will run till 17 February.

Gadkari further said that we have achieved the target of constructing 30 km road so far and it is expected that by the end of March we will meet the target of constructing 40 km road.
