Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited hospitals in New Delhi on Thursday to learn about the health of policemen injured in the violence that erupted during the tractor parade of farmers in the national capital on Republic Day.

After meeting the injured policemen Amit Shah tweeted, “Meeting the injured Delhi Police personnel. We are proud of their courage and bravery.”
During the yatra, Amit Shah interacted with Delhi Police personnel and got doctors to take update on their health.
Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and Delhi Police Commissioner SN Srivastava were also present with Home Minister Amit Shah during this period. It is known that more than 400 police personnel were injured in this violence during the farmers’ tractor rally.
A Home Ministry official said on Thursday morning that the Home Minister would go to the Shushruta Trauma Center and Tirath Ram Hospital to take update of the health of the injured policemen.
