Police detained nearly 40 lawyers who headed for Raj Bhavan after holding protests at Nampally Criminal Court complex.

lawyer couple was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in broad daylight in Peddapalli district on Wednesday. During the last moments, the man reportedly named a TRS leader as being responsible for the attack. The victims are identified as Gattu Vaman Rao and Nagamani, practicing lawyers at the Telangana High Court, were heading home from Hyderabad when they were waylaid by two men who hacked them to death near Kalvacherla village of Ramagiri Mandal in Telangana.
